The Laramie Project

This fast paced, thought provoking play challenges you to confront your own deep seated beliefs and tolerance for others. The LARAMIE PROJECT was based hundreds interviews with people in Laramie, Wyoming conducted after the savage murder of a young gay man, Matthew Shepard, in 1998. Those interviews were distilled into a powerful work of theatre that exposes both the prejudices and common decency of ordinary people as they come to terms with hatred in their community.
