A Celebration of Life - Warren Sampson

Our beloved friend and colleague, Warren Sampson, passed away on March 6, 2026, following several months of health issues. Warren first came to The Drama Group in our 2008-2009 season, performing in A Man for All Seasons and The Laramie Project. That was followed by performances in Arsenic and Old Lace, Blithe Spirit, West Side Story and The Philadelphia Story. He directed Hot’L Baltimore, Other Desert Cities and Murder on the Nile, as well as staged readings of The Seagull, Love, Loss and What I Wore and Kennedy’s Children. He served on the Board of Directors, as Chair of the Play Selection Committee and was instrumental in introducing the Staged Reading Program. He performed in the production of Dancing at Lughnasa at Hammond Community Theater. Every task he took on at The Drama Group was filled with passion and commitment.
